Business Analyst (Senior Associate)

The role reports to the Director of Planning and Strategy, and performs a range of duties from data and intelligence gathering, market and business analysis, developing pitch decks, and providing insights on financial and performance data that is available in-house. Responsibilities also include compilation and finalisation of documents and proposals to the Board of Directors and key stakeholders. This is a hands-on role and may act as a coach to other team-members in the use of Strategic Tools and Methods for Business Planning, and monitoring Business/Project Performance. The role also supports the organisation to make better decision making in resource allocation, portfolio risk management and capacity building.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure that data gathered are accurate and comprehensive, and easily retrievable for analysis
  • Support the Director in identifying strategic direction and new ventures and business opportunities  
  • Assist in preparation matters related to board meetings, management meetings and other relevant meetings including scheduling and meeting minutes. 
  • Assist with data collection analysis to provide insights for decision-making, including developing reports and dashboards as needed. 
  • Ensuring that there is up-to-date information available on organisation-wide project; progress, resourcing, risks and help identify communication and change management needs, as required

Minimum qualifications:

  • Degree holder with MBA

Minimum years of experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience
